Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VBTM (Verbatim), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the service. VBTM is operated by Tealbroth LLC, a company registered in New Mexico (File #3141905), with a business address at 60 Tottenham Court Road, Office 680, Fitzrovia, London, W1T 2EW.

Service Description

VBTM is an AI-powered dictation utility that transcribes speech and polishes text in real-time. The service removes filler words, corrects grammar, and produces clean text that is injected directly into any text field on your computer. VBTM is currently available as a desktop application for Windows, with macOS support coming soon.

Accounts

You may create one account per person. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. VBTM uses passwordless authentication — you may sign in with Google, Microsoft, or a one-time password sent to your email address. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.

Free Tier

VBTM offers a free tier that includes 5,000 words per month. This allowance resets monthly. No credit card is required to use the free tier. The free tier includes all core dictation and AI polish features.

Paid Plans

VBTM offers two paid plans. The Core plan costs $6.99 per month when billed annually or $7.99 per month when billed monthly, and includes 55,000 words per month. The Pro plan costs $13.49 per month when billed annually or $14.99 per month when billed monthly, and includes approximately 200,000 words per month under a fair use policy. All payments are processed by Stripe.

Free Trial

New users may access a 14-day free trial of the Core plan. You will not be charged during the trial period. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends. If you do not cancel before the trial period expires, your subscription will begin automatically and you will be charged at the applicable rate.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the VBTM application or via the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will continue to have access to paid features until that date. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time within a billing period.

Fair Use

The Pro plan includes approximately 200,000 words per month under a fair use policy. If your usage significantly and consistently exceeds this threshold, we may throttle your access to maintain service quality for all users. We will always notify you before taking any such action and provide an opportunity to discuss your usage.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use VBTM to produce, process, or distribute illegal content. You may not attempt to circumvent usage limits, manipulate the service to avoid charges, or exploit vulnerabilities. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the VBTM software. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

Intellectual Property

VBTM, including its software, branding, and documentation, is owned by Tealbroth LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your dictation content belongs entirely to you. We claim no ownership, licence, or interest in the text you create using VBTM.

Limitation of Liability

VBTM is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy of transcriptions, the quality of AI polish, or the uninterrupted availability of the service. We are not responsible for any errors in transcription, inaccuracies introduced by AI polishing, or any downstream consequences of text produced using VBTM. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service. You may delete your account at any time through the application or by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately, and we will delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of VBTM shall be resolved in the courts of New Mexico.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will post the revised terms on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of VBTM after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
